Area leaders are the LDS bishops and emergency preparedness coordinators in the various LDS wards in Bountiful City. Emergency areas in Bountiful are organized along the LDS ward boundaries for convenience purposes, but all households in a ward’s geographic area are included regardless of faith. Area leaders and coordinators help divide their area into blocks and assign a block captain to lead each block. They provide emergency preparedness resources and information to the citizens in their area.
