Bountiful CERT is your key to being disaster and emergency ready.
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program teaches people to assist others following a disaster when professional responders are not available.
CERT is a nationwide program, run by individual locales, that puts the power of emergency response in the hands of average citizens. This 8 week course is taught by local instructors and each class provides hands on skills practice! Use a fire extinguisher, bandage and splint injuries, find and transport the wounded, and so much more in this community class. Apply your skills in a mock disaster at the end of the course!
NOTE: At present, until COVID restrictions are lessened, CERT basic classes have been suspended.
